Point 16: Storyboard, drawn

 I will create a story board physical because drawing digitally is a pain. A big pain.

The storyboard illustrates my idea of what is going to happen and how. Camera angles and descriptions are included to give the viewer a better idea of what I have in mind. The drawings are not 100% understandable, but it helps to understand of what roughly happens. This task connects to the shooting list and script, as it gives me a visiual idea of how the scene is suppose to look like and what editing I am going to use for specific scenes. Even though it is not as detailed as the shooting script, the storyboard is a great supporter to visualise the idea. I am a visual learner, so seeing the shots drawn, helps me to provide the perfect scenery. In the end, I did not use any colours or went into crazy detail, because I believe that mostly the director off the music video has to understand the pictures.

 We got introduced to "Things to consider"  a few lessons ago and now we have to think about what three points we want to include in our music video.  In today's lesson, we talked about Enigma , which basically means that a lot of questions are open. For example David Guetta feat. Sia "Titanium": What happened at school? Where were his parents? and so on. Or, in other words: the whole music video is a mystery. Many unanswered questions, and maybe even do not make sense to some, but also leave a big space for the viewer's imagination. Point 6: Past videos from The Killers

  Three videos and why I like them I researched the Artist "The Killers" and watched a few music videos from the past. For this task I am going to chose three videos that I like and state why they caught my interest.  The Killers - Human The reason why I like the music video for "Human" so much, is because they never left the colour scheme they went for. It was all gold, yellow-ish with black and white. Furthermore, I like the idea of putting short films about different animals in the video. It gives of a brave vibe.  The Killers - Smile like you mean it Another music video that I really like. It is especially the editing and camerawork that has caught my attention.
