Hello everyone!! I am so excited to tell you that I am really close to finish my first rough edit! I just need this weekend and hopefully I will be able to share it with you! Stay tuned!

Oh god, oh no

Something absolute terrible happened to me earlier this week.  I was finished and got all the clips and scenes I needed to finish that music video and I was so excited to start working on the edit. It took me days to be satisfied with the results so you can probably tell how glad I was to start editing and finishing that thing off. Nonetheless, it all went downhill. Everything on my camera wouldn't show up on my PC and after trying to fix it, ALL of the videos and photos I had were gone, with no option to get them back. I am in a rage and devastated, as I put so much work into that project. I will have to ask my teacher for an extension on this NEA. There is good news though because I failed to create the music video idea I originally had in mind, I started thinking of another idea (same song). I will need to redo my shooting list just to know what exactly I was planning to do.  Every post that I updated to fit my new idea is marked with *NEW*

Point 39: check for any more mistakes

I checked with Grammarly again for any written text that I have on my website and I did find one or two mistakes, but these were fixed within seconds. I checked if the sections were still in the middle of the website and that the stickers are not cut off on the sides.  However, I did notice a bar at the bottom of the website which you can pull to the side and it changes the sections by dragging them further to the right. I cannot get rid of this and it really starts to annoy me. I will try and see if that is only a laptop problem. It happens to be a laptop problem. It is annoying but there is nothing I can do. I also found another little mistake in connection with the album cover that I created myself. The album cover has the wrong album name on it, so I quickly changed it.

Point 38: Process of the website

Creating a new website and having to stick to one specific video that does not exist yet, was quite a challenge for me. I have the colour palette and video visually in front of my eyes, however, I do not have the finished product from which I can check if what I do is correct.  First I used several different website templates from the category "Musician" and tried to turn them into my website. This took a really long time and after hours I realised that this template was just not working for me so I picked a new one. This happened exactly 4 times until I gave templates up and created a website from scratch. This was much easier than I imagined and ended up having more fun organising and adding what I want than trying and adapting my ideas into an already existing template.  After putting everything in place on the homepage I turned to the other web pages such as "ABOUT", "GALLERY" and "SHOP". A lot of back and forth went into these pages. The rea

Point 37: create your web pages

Just a few days ago I finished the web pages and matched the aesthetics for my target audience. I really hope that I managed to fit their colour scheme and stayed faithful to the music video at the same time. It was harder than I expected because I do not have the full music video yet on which I could have orientated myself.

Point 35: Drafting text and correction

To correct my text on my website I used Grammarly. The reason why I chose Grammarly is simply that I love using it. I have been using this program since I came here (often it does not work though) but it really helps me improve and learn about the English language.  However, I also let my teacher have a look at it and friends so that it does make sense to others as well.
