*NEW* Point 7: Things to consider - what I want to include
We got introduced to "Things to consider" a few lessons ago and now we have to think about what three points we want to include in our music video.
In today's lesson, we talked about Enigma, which basically means that a lot of questions are open. For example David Guetta feat. Sia "Titanium": What happened at school? Where were his parents? and so on. Or, in other words: the whole music video is a mystery. Many unanswered questions, and maybe even do not make sense to some, but also leave a big space for the viewer's imagination.
Example:
The next thing to consider, that I want or need to include, is lighting. Lighting is going to be the main key to settling the mood for the music video and keeping the vocal point in focus. Lighting helps a lot to concentrate on the main part of a clip or scene and, like I said before, it can change the emotions throughout the scenes. A good example of that is Billie Eilish's "lovely" and "bad guy".
Example:
Lastly, I want to include convincing lip-syncing and acting. This is going to be the key element in the video. I do not want the artist to be "unknown" to the star. I want them in the same spot, which means that their stories or more like their involvement be present. I want them to be there physically but not seen. Lip-syncing is going to be mixed up with the story, so no direct changes in locations. The acting is obviously going to shape the story, so I want it to be as realistic as possible.
