Point 33: rough sketch of website

This is a rough sketch of my website. It illustrates what I have in mind for my website. The photos you see above is the homepage on which you con scroll down. If you are on the homepage, the HOME button at the top left corner on the cream background turns pink. To get to another category, just click on one of the buttons next to the logo, like ABOUT, in which case you can get to know the artist and read about her life.


For the font I have chosen to use san serif font (historical), as it fits not only the website but also the music video and it's vibe to it. However, I will also use a different font style in specific categories and a different colour scheme, because my music video covers 2 to 3 colourschemes, that I want to represent on my website. 
For the bright side of the website, I will use clean fonts and bold colours to represent the first aesthetic I chose to go for.
The dark side will cover sans serif font and dark and almost uncomfortable colours, illustrating another aesthetic. The font however might change to something more bold and extra.
I will also include pictures from a shoot that I shot specificly for the music video. These images will be used for background. 

The reason for all of this is simply because I like the idea how with each navigation page the website goes darker and psychotic. Just like the music video. Another reason is that it would be something unique and would stand out of the crowd, which is what we have to do to draw the viewers attention to us.

 We got introduced to "Things to consider"  a few lessons ago and now we have to think about what three points we want to include in our music video.  In today's lesson, we talked about Enigma , which basically means that a lot of questions are open. For example David Guetta feat. Sia "Titanium": What happened at school? Where were his parents? and so on. Or, in other words: the whole music video is a mystery. Many unanswered questions, and maybe even do not make sense to some, but also leave a big space for the viewer's imagination. Point 6: Past videos from The Killers

  Three videos and why I like them I researched the Artist "The Killers" and watched a few music videos from the past. For this task I am going to chose three videos that I like and state why they caught my interest.  The Killers - Human The reason why I like the music video for "Human" so much, is because they never left the colour scheme they went for. It was all gold, yellow-ish with black and white. Furthermore, I like the idea of putting short films about different animals in the video. It gives of a brave vibe.  The Killers - Smile like you mean it Another music video that I really like. It is especially the editing and camerawork that has caught my attention. The camera work makes it feel like a little movie, while the editing gives off a kind of supernatural style.
